About Me​​

As an educator, I don’t teach subjects, I teach students.

I began my career volunteering in elementary school art rooms, middle/high school clubs, and early literacy initiatives. After receiving my B.S. in Elementary Education, I began teaching fifth grade in the public school system.

Towards the end of 2019, I started wondering if there was a better way for students to learn. I began teaching remotely in January 2020 in the hopes of finding that better way.

… We all remember what happened just a few months after that!

During lock down, I continued teaching remotely and earned my M.S. in Psychology to pursue school psychology and continue working extensively with students with disabilities.

Changing laws in Florida prompted me to leave the classroom, but my passion is still in seeing students make growth they never thought possible.
